Your best bet is to open all the Excel workbooks in the same instance and
then use Window, Arrange,Vertical. -- Jim "Andy" wrote in message ... | How do I open new excel docs as entirely new windows on my computer. I would | like to be able to arrange them across the screens insstead of all in one | window... I'm using Excel 2003. | |

That certainly allows me to view all the files in one window and will help.
I guess I'm wondering if there's a way to open files in new windows, or maybe instances is the correct terminology? Can I open files in different instances? Yep. Window New. Or, to open a totally different instance, open Excel again
through the start menu. "Andy" wrote: That certainly allows me to view all the files in one window and will help. thanks so much for your help... here's my problem... After I installed
Office pro2003 I moved Word and Excel somewhere that I can't find them. In other words, they are no longer in my start menu, but they do exist on my computer. Any idea how to find them? heh, yes. Start Search. Search for Word as the file name, and search in "My
Computer." It should come up on the list somewhere (you recognize the icon, right?). When you see, it, right-click and "pin to start menu." Do the same thing for Excel.
