Excel 2007. When I try to insert a row, the following notation comes up:
"Can not shift objects off sheet". Never had that problem in Excel 2003,
2000 etc.

i don't know whether to call this a glitch or not. it has something to do
with cells having been merged.

go somewhere down the worksheet and delete several (or several hundred)
rows. this will allow you to insert rows.

don't make logical sense, but it works
