Font size in the formula bar?
 

Is it possible to change the Font size in the formula bar? I am finding the
default size too small for editing formulas directly in the bar.

Font size in the formula bar?
 

Click Tools Options General tab
Change the font size to suit OK
(You'd be prompted to quit and restart Excel for the change to take effect)

ToolsOptionsView tab, Standard FontSize

This will change the font size in the cells too, but you can change that back to the original size with the standard formatting
commands

You'll have to quit and restart Excel for these changes to take effect

Thanks Max, that worked

I'm working in 2007 so you do something similar - On the ribbon go Office
buttonPopularFont size.

It changes the whole sheet to the new font size and increases the resolution
so the fix is to select all cells and change the font back to 8, then the
formula bar remains at the larger size.

It would be nice if you could change the font size in the formula bar
without affecting anything else

Hi

From a previous posting by Dave Peterson
Tools|Options|General Tab|
Change the Standard Font Size to something larger
(make a note of the existing value(s)--just in case)


Then close excel and reopen it.
