Is there a way to use the reference to a selected item of a combo box in a
formula. I am trying to run a Index/Match formula. In the combo box the user can select home or work and I would like the index/match formula to use either home or work as the lookup_value. I know i can have the combo box write the selection to another cell and then have that cell be used as the lookup_value, but i would prefer not to do this. I dont know if it is possible, but i would prefer the Index/match to pull the value straight from the combobox. Thanks. |
