Hi
Check out ToolsOptionsSpellingAutocorrect list and see if there is an entry there which changes 7 to 11. If so, delete it. -- Regards Roger Govier wrote in message oups.com... dear all, my friend's Excel and Access do a funny thing. whenever he enters "7" in a cell and he sees that the "7" will be changed to "11" immediately! so he can't correctly input "7" in Excel and Access. any idea? is his PC infected with virus? pls help! many thx! lisa |
