Hi,

I'm needing to paste special formats but only want the bolding to apply
- all other formats should stay the same. For example I'm copying
formats from a series of cells that are arial font (some are bold and
some are not) into a series that are verdana font and I only want the
bold format to apply.

Hope I'm making sense.

Just apply conditional formatting to the range to which you are pasting
data.m The conditional formatting should be that any text in that range is
bolded.
