Default Arrow Keys no Longer Work

I used to be able to hit the right and left arrow keys to move to the
adjacent cells. Now it shifts the entire worksheet to the right or
the left, and I can't figure out how to change it back. Thanks for
any help.

Go to the Tools menu, choose Options, then the Transition tab.
There, uncheck Transition Navigation Keys.

Chip

That would affect the TAB key, not the arrow keys.

Scroll Lock is the baddie here.

Hi,

I am having the same problems as JDT. How would I unlock the scroll on a
iMac computer?

Thank you,
Jen

Your Scroll Lock key is on.

Hit it once to turn off.

I have the same problem with Word as well as all of the other Microsoft
Office 2003 programs and Internet Explorer. I did turn my scroll lock off
and I'm still having the same problem. The arrow keys work with other
programs, however. I have reinstalled Office, but it didn't change anything.
I also tried System Restore, but the left/right arrow keys still don't work.
This is making me miserable. What can I do?

If only in Office applications, I would suggest a "detect and repair" from the
Help menu.

The IE problem is a mystery to me if the scroll lock is disabled.

I have never run across or heard of this problem so can't be of much help.
