Default Excel grid

How do I renumber the grid? I want my first line of data to be #1, not my
column heading.

About the best you can do is turn the row numbers (and column letters/numbers)
off.

Then number the rows the way you like in column A.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. I think most users get used to the way excel
looks and might be confused at what you want.
