Instead of the term annual average, use the term:
average year-to-date The listener (or reader) will then understand this is just an estimate of the annual average, improving as the months go by. -- Gary's Student "naiad0018" wrote: I have a rolling average graph that starts Jan 2004 and is updated every month - there is a benchmark, rolling average and than an annual average.....my problem is that I don't think that annual is the correct word because annual means year total and the end of line only equals 7 months.
