I have a large spreadsheet that I sort often. When I use the upper left
corner to designate sort area, "merged cells" comes up. If I sot otherwise, sorting works. I have not had this problem till recently but I must have copied in some merged data. How can I find these cells and "unmerge" or remove them? Thanks, Lowell |

Hi
First, you bring the unmerge button to the tool bars. Right click on the blank space of the tool bar field and select customize €“ commands €“ format. You can see the unmerge button. Drag and drop it to the tool bar field. Since it is a large spreadsheet, it will be difficult to find merged cells one by one. So select all cells by pressing control A. Now press the unmerge button. I hope this would help. Regards, Jaleel "lowell" wrote: I have a large spreadsheet that I sort often. When I use the upper left corner to designate sort area, "merged cells" comes up.
