How do I get the the default setting for my excel workbooks to always print
the file path, date and time? I know I can do it for an individual workbook by changing the footer options, but is there a way to set it for all of my excel files? A new workbook would automatically have the settings. |

Hi kuhac
You can create a empty workbook with those settings and save it as a template (xlt file) named "Book" in your xlstartfolder If you open a new file now it use this template Location: on my machine is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\XLSTART -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl "kuhac" wrote in message ...
