I opened a shared file that was recommended to be opened as a read only. I
now need to change the file but as I opened it as read only the first time it now opens as read only automatically. How can I open this file for editing? Thanks, Niall |

I can close a file and reopen it and answer no to the readonly prompt and I can
save my changes. Does that not work for you? Niall wrote: I opened a shared file that was recommended to be opened as a read only. Close the file and open it's Properties by right clicking the file icon and
uncheck the Read only option in the General Tab. "Niall" wrote: I opened a shared file that was recommended to be opened as a read only.
