I'm creating a workbook to be used by non-Excel users. It includes a number
of worksheets and uses hyperlinks between certain data and a worksheet of corresponding footnotes at the end of the workbook. I've used hyperlinks to direct users to the footnotes easily, but I can't find a function that aids the user in going back to the cell and tab in which the user clicked the hyperlink - any ideas? Ideally I'd like to create a macro button at the top of the footnote page that "returns to previous cell", regardless of which footnote was viewed. (I realize I could create separate macros linking each footnote back to its specific hyperlink, but I'm really only interested in a "universal" go-back-one-step-type function) Any thoughts would be very much appreciated!!!! Thank YOU!!! |

marika...
I am trying to do the same sort of thing with similar lack of success. It has been a while since you posted. I'd be interested in hearing how you accomplished this. Marika1981-I found a "sort of solution" using hyperlinks to the source page
where I have a series of layouts that I want to copy, then manually using the "alt left arrow" to return to the target page where I want to insert the layouts. However, I am still struggling with a macro or code to do the same thing. "marika1981" wrote: Barry - I'm running out the door right now but will write tonight.
