Hello --
-- I've made a series of nine excel files, each with a couple columns of ~200 rows of integer data and a single simple chart. Individually, these files are all around 50kb, but when I combine all the data and charts into a single excel file, the file size balloons to 4.5 megabytes. The data on it's own is only about 200 kb, while the charts are ~4.4 mb (I copied and pasted into a new file). I also tried breaking the excel links, which only reduced the size about 300 kb. Does anyone know what's going on? Charts should definitely not take up so much space. Thank you very much -- -- Todd |
