Default How do I draw a line of best fit?

I would like to put a Science graph on the computer but I need to use a line
of best fit is is possible to do this with any Microsoft producat in
particular exel?

Gavin,

Yes, Excel offers several options.

Depending on your data, you could first look at Excel's charting trendline
options. After you create a chart, click on it once. Then go to the
standard toolbar and select Chart - Add Trendline.

Next, this site shows how to calculate a best fit line via linear regression
calculations:

Finally, take a look at Excel's INDEX, LINEST, and CORREL functions. Also,
if you have the Analysis ToolPak installed, Excel will calculate all of the
regression coefficients for you.

Select the data series in the chart, then select Chart | Add
Trendline... and pick the type of trendline and the options of
interest. You may also want to see
