Default Expand pivot table

Thanks, Dave, but I still can't get it to work. The instructions you listed
are the ones I remember from XL2003, but I can't see how to do the same
thing in 2007.

If I highlight a cell in the PT, then the Pivot Table icon is grayed out. If
I right-click on the PT, I don't see any menu item that lets me edit the
data range.

If I go to the data table, I see only a Create Pivot Table dialogue box. I
can't see the Show PT Wizard anywhere.

Thanks,
Fred

Show the pivottable wizard for that pivottable.

Hit the back button as many times as you need to get to the step that asks
you
for the range.

If the range grows and contracts rows, you may want to create a dynamic
range
name so all you have to do is refresh the pivottable.

Debra Dalgleish shares instructions for that kind of dynamic name:

do
I do this in Excel 2007?
