Default =IF(A2="","",TEXT(A2,"dddd"))

Jim,

I'm not quite sure what you want, is it this

=IF(A2="","",TEXT(A2,"dd dddd"))

or this

=IF(A2="","",TEXT(A2,"dd"))

When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that
introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the
question.

Hello,

I'm currently using this formula to pull out the month, day and year from a
date.

The formula is pulling out the day of the week, but I also would like the
actual day (like today is hte 19th), I would like 19.

Can someone offer some help.

Thanks
