Thanks. This looks like a new version of what I had before. I will scrap
the old one and use this one.
In Excel 2002, I would use the Excel commands:
"Data"
"Import External Data"
"Parameters"
and then edit a list of stock symbols similar to what appears on the new
template. My problem was that I could not find a similar set of commands in
Excel 2007, eventhough the old worksheet would function in Excel 2007 as long
as I did not need to change any of the stock symbols.

I have a suspicion that we don't have the same sheet, it's pretty obvious
where to enter stock symbols in the one I'm looking at. The first page, MSN,
row 6 starting at column C.
Ok, I just checked where I downloaded this from,
http://www.vertex42.com/ExcelTemplat...ck-quotes.html on that same
site they talk about what is maybe the sheet you have, "Another way to work
with stock quotes in Excel is to use the free MSN Money Stock Quote Add-in
for Excel versions 2002 and 2003 (and 2007).
Sorry if I've thrown you off, I hope that the above information helps.

Where does it say "Enter list of stock symbols"? That is, what page are
you
on when you see this?

Enter the new symbol next to where it says "Enter list of stock symbols"
Enter the ticker symbols here, separated by commas or space

I used MSN Stock Quotes in Excel 2002. Now I am using a copy of the
same
spreadsheet in Excel 2007. How do I edit (e.g., add a new stock
symbol)
MSN
Stock Quotes in Excel 2007?
