Instead of selecting the legend key (the icon or line representing the
trendline in the legend), select the legend entry, which is the text label
for the trendline, then press Delete. This leaves the trendline intact but
removes the label in the legend.

Hi there,
I have a scatterlpot graph with 2 variables both with linear
trendlines. I need to keep thelegendfor the two variables but I
don't need the obvious icons for both of the trendlines. I can create
a custom name for them, which gets rid of the "Linear" text for them
in thelegend, but their icons remain. Is there anyway to get rid of
this?
Thanks,
Hos
Nevermind, I found the answer by searching the archives of this forum.
I apologize for not doing that first! BTW, the answer is to simpmly
click on the legend and then click on the icon you want to remove in
the legend (DUH).
Thanks again,
Kerry
No wait! That didn't work, I just noticed that it removed the actual
trendlines w/ the legend icons!
That worked! Thanks!
