Hello Everyone,
I would like to request assistance.
I have created a report in Excel that downloads data from accounting
software. Once the data is downloaded it is sifted and analysed to be placed
in tables that are used to populate graphs. All of the tables Lookup dates,
then sum, count or average the data corresponding to that date. I use arrays
as well. I have written a macro that performs these functions. Writing of
the macro was helped by many questions and answers in the Microsoft
discussion groups.
My question is regarding another table. I would like to create a table that
will be by customer. The downloaded data is a record of all transactions
that take place over a period. I would like to create a table that once the
data is downloaded updates itself with the customer names in the list. In
the downloaded data, customer name may appear more that once. But in order
to create a table, customer name must appear only once. The new table must
be updated by the customer names every time the data is downloaded from the
accounting software. The main sticking point is that the customer name must
appear only once.
Please help.
Thanks for everything.
