I don't see where Excel 2000 has a 'datedif' function. Does Excel 2003
have
this function?

Excel 2000 does have this function, although it may not be documented in
HELP.

=DATEDIF(StartDate, EndDate, "m")

See http://www.cpearson.com/excel/datedif.htm for documentation.
