Default Help me Convert!!!

I have data in a column in the format 0:04 or 0:11. In the next column I want to take the numbers to the right of the colon and multiply by 9.75. I would also like a way to drop off the 0: from each column.

Thanks!

format your column in custom format:
[0,0416667]h:mm;mm

To multiply the value right of the colon:
=MINUTE(A1)*9.75
and format the cell General
