Default Create Macro to pull data from a warehouse management system?

Is there a possible way to create a macro that pulls data from a warehouse management software system. I'm trying to create a macro that will pull directly from a program called Red Prairie.

Contact the developers & ask if the data file can be accessed by other
apps. If so you probably need to us ADODB. Hopefully, though, Red
Prairie has some way to 'export' data to some format that can be used
by any programming language.
