Default Multiple cell selection on one click!

When I try to select one cell, I sometimes get two or three or four. Then if
I change the zoom, it sometimes clears up -- sometimes not! Anyone know how
I can remedy that!

Thanks,

I have read that other people have this problem when zoom is set below a
critical value
It seems to be "feature" <grin
best wishes

I get the same problem, haven't found an absolute fix but i have found a bit
of a bodge:

Go into any cell, press F8 to turn 'Extended Selection' on (see bottom left
of screen when you press F8), then press it again to turn it off. This seems
to solve the problem for as long as i'm working in that session.

I don't know why this works or if it will for you, but is a relatively quick
fix for me :)
