Red face Can I change text colour according to the letter entered?

Hello,

I only have a vague awareness of formatting and am quite new to the whole Excel thing. I have created a spreadsheet for work on which I have a column which users will enter 'Y' or 'N' into. Is there anyway that when the 'y' is entered that the test would go red and bold? I have tried searching various forums for help but can't seem to find anything!

Cheers

Conditional Formatting is what you need.
Post an example workbook and I'll show you how, but it's easy enough to work out by googling it and working through an example or two.
