Default Calculating FED TAX in Excel

Update: Missing attachment has been added.

I have noticed various queries regarding calc of fed tax. I have this need also, and have set up a Vlookup mechanism. But now I have a much simpler method. It will handle rates for different years, and all tax status.

This is my first time here and I just noticed the attachment option. But here are the higlights:

1) Put your input on one line. The M is MFJ, and the 90000 is the agi.

m 2012 90000
2) Set up a range for the years and tax status. The following shows 2011 and 2012 and Single and MFJ.
a) You should recognize most of the columns.
b) The column with the "error" is the IF statement. It will show "t" (true) only once regardless of year or tax status. The T shows way down in 2012 M.
c) When the column is true, the tax is calculated. (See attachment).
3) In the Tax column, use autosum so the tax appears in only one cell. (See attachment. Its all muddled in this rich text).
