Default Can I scan an existing paper form into excel

I have 3 accounting forms that I fill in by hand that would work great in a
workbook but I need to use the existing forms. Can I scan them into Excel
and create them as a new template?

If your scanner has a good OCR application with it you can get most forms
scanned.

I have had some success scanning as "Text and Image" which saves as an *.RTF
file which you open in Word.

Then you can copy it to an Excel worksheet.

Usually some corrections to make but overall, not bad.

OCR meaning optical character recognition. If your scanner doesn't have such
software there is lots of third-party software out the
