Default Query Wizard - Choose Columns

I hope that this is the correct list for questions on MS Query, and Query
Wizard in particular.

From Excel Import External Data and connecting successfully using an ODBC
driver to my DSN, I work through Query Wizard until I get to the Choose
Columns page.

The windows named 'Available tables and columns is correctly populated, and
I am able to select to populate the window named 'Columns in your query'. But
with a line in the latter window selected, the window named 'Preview of data
in selected column' is not populated.

How can I get this window to populate?

Thanks.

Mike

Hi,

Click the + beside the table and select a field, then the Preview Now button
will be active. Click it.

If this helps, please click Yes.

Sorry guys. That didn't work, although the Preview Pane button did turn black
from gray.

I am still not seeing any information in the Preview Pane. Could that be
something to do with the database that I am looking at (although I know that
I am selecting populated fields); or is it a Query Wizard setting?
