Default Attempt to register XLODBC32.DLL failed when trying to load SQL-R.

Using Office 2003. Have speadsheet created in Excel 2002 which uses
XLODBC.XLA add-in to gain access to my SQL database.
When tried to run program on another computer running Excel 2003, the add-in
will not load giving message "Attempt to register XLODBC32.DLL failed".
Cells with SQL.REQUEST formula show as #NAME?

Do not have any other instances of Excel installed.
ODBC DNS has been created and tested OK.
Have opened Visual Basic editor and gone to Tools/References and pointed the
path to XLODBC.XLA

Any suggestions v.welcome:-)

can you locate XLODBC32.DLL through search function in windows
explorer?
If you found it, go to the add-ins menu, click on automation, on browse
and browse to the xlodbc32.dll
