Default help on excel 2003

The UNDO function is not working. while typing in a cell, all the command
icons in the standard tool bar and other tool bars are inactive. then once I
press enter, I can not undo it.

Any help is appreciated.

Not all the icons should be disabled, but lots should be. But Bold, Italics,
Underline and stuff you can do to each charater in the cell should still be
available.

And if you can't use Edit|Undo after you make a typing change, then maybe you
have an event macro running in the background that kills that feature--lots of
macros break edit|undo.

Not that I know of.

I think you'll have to make a choice--keep the macro or keep the edit|undo
functionality.

I think you'll get better results by describing your problem in plain text and
posting to the newsgroup.

Since it's a programming problem, you may want to post in .programming. Lots of
people will see your question that way.
