Default Scroll

You're saying that if you limit scrolling like this:

Sheet1.ScrollArea = "A1:J20"

a user can still scroll beyond it with a touchpad? I'd find that
surprising, to say the least, but if it's true then you could hide the rows
and columns outside this range I suppose.
