When a user enters data into a cell, he has to tab out of
it before he can push the "calculate" button. Is there any
way to change this so that the calculation can be
performed while the cell is still selected? I appreciate
any help.

Sisilla,

As far as I know, you can't do anything until you finish
entering something into a cell. That cell has focus and
everything basically stops until you tab out of the cell
or press the enter key.

Perhaps what you actually want is to avoid the selected
cell moving after pressing Enter (or TAB). If so,
deselect the 'Move selection after Enter' checkbox on the
Edit Tab of the Tools,Options menu.
