Default Converting XML data from SQL Server to Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes

Hi there,
I am trying to get the SQL Server Database information
onto XML and then I want to store them in the Excel
sheets. Is there any examples available which could help
in defining this task. If so please do let me know.
Should I need to use XSL with XML to generate the Excel
sheet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
John
