how do you create buttons in excel by using the control
toolbox feature.

Robert,

On the control toolbox go into design mode (the blue triangle button),
select the button and draw it on the worksheet. Double-click the control
will take you into the VB IDE with the click event template prepared for you
to add your code.

When done, exit design mode on same button as previous.
