Default AutoFilter Dropdown Boxes Missing

Yep. I don't have a solution. And sometimes minimizing the worksheet window
(or the application window) will bring them back, too. (When it does, it's
quicker than closing and reopening.)

Has anyone else ever experienced this?

Many times (not every time) when I use AutoFilter on a list, the
dropdowns are not visible. However, when I go to Data, Filter it shows
that the AutoFilter is active.

Sometimes when I close Excel and re-open it corrects the problem.
Other times it doesn't.
