Default Excel Addins

Can an Excel Addin, on a network volume, be used
concurrently by multiple users?

Sure, but the load times will increase. Sometimes its better to demand load
networked addins.

You can open the addin as a file just like an ordinary XLS.
This is more work for your users, but can be useful if the addin is not in
constant use and slows down Excel opening.

Another problem with networked addins is that you cannot easily update them
whilst they are in use.

Try it out on your system to see if you get any significant speed impact
from placing the addin on the newtwork, if you find its slow there is an
automatic reversioning addin loader on my downloads page which is designed
to solve these problems.

Thank you for the response.

By 'demand load' do you mean checking it after Excel has
loaded?
