i have 2 excel workbooks that i have been using for the
past year or so and now we upgraded from windows 2000
operating system to windows xp. The problem im
experiencing is linking cells from one workbook to
another. In the past i have both workbooks open and i got
to the cell where i want the data and i have my string
that says pull this data from the other spreadsheet and i
hit the + sign and nothing happens. In the past when you
would go to windows at the top you would see that i had
both spreadsheets open, but now it only shows the workbook
that im currently in, but i have both of them open. Both
workbooks should show that their open, because i have them
both open. It appears that the link or something is
missing but im thinking that because it doesnt show my
workbook in the top it has something to do with it Any
idea what my problem is?
