Default naming columns

how do i name columns & then repeat these heading on each page?
i tried excel help and went to page setup, then print titles, then rows to
repeat, and i get "reference is not valid".

can i change the column headings from "A, B, C,..." to specific headings
that I want?

thanks

You cannot change the column letters from A, B, C etc.

You can type titles in row 1 like Name, Address, Zip etc.

To repeat these on each printed page you would enter $1:$1 in the "rows to
repeat at top" box.

Also in page setupsheet uncheck "row and column headings"
