Default File directory structure reorg

One of our departments wish to rationalise their directory structures, which
overtime has become a bit of a mess. They have numerous files across this
existing structure that have links to other files elsewhere in the structure.
Their wish is to move all of these into the new structure, but I understand
document links will break (its stying on the same server). Is there any way
of automating the process to identigy and repair links or perhpas a 3rd party
tool would do the trick ?

Thanks in advance

I can offer a free LinkManager utility which may help you.
It will certainly identify links to the old structure for you.

It will also change the links to the new structure if the move is done
so that all the files in a particular directory are moved to the same
new directory.

If you would like to try it, email me at Bill underscore Manville at
Compuserve dot com.
