date option
Excel News group,
I would like to display "03/04/1997" instead of just the type listed "03/04/97", I hope there is a option to do this. I do have XP & excel 97 Thanks, Dave |

If that format is not available in FormatNumberDate you can use Custom and set for dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy. Alternative.......go to Regional Options in Control Panel and change the "short date" format to show the full year. Hie Yes you can. On formart cells, number, go to custom and change type: to be dd/mm/yyyy and you will smile at the click of OK. respond please if it did not work but I'm sure it will work. -----Original Message----- Excel News group, I would like to display "03/04/1997" instead of just the type listed "03/04/97", I hope there is a option to do this.
