What exactly do you want to do?

Change an Excel worksheet into a thumbnail image?

Copy a range and make a thumbnail picture out of it?

Change the view to thumbnails in Windows Exploprer?

Preview the workbook before opening?

As you can see, there are a few optional directions to assisting you.

Highlight the range you wish to "thumbnail"
Crtl-Shift Edit CopyPicture Appearance AsShownOnScreen Format
Picture OK
Then pick an unused cell and right-click Paste.......then grab a corner
and downsize the image........
Then if you wish, it can be copied into Paint Shop Pro and saved as a .jpg,
or whatever.........
