Default How to see the correct information from file without breaking links

Hi. I have another problem with the links. Has anyone resolved a
similar issue?
The problem exists between excel 2002 and 2003.
Users of Office 2003 in order to use the file have to broke all
links. The spreadsheet has many links to other files. If an Excel
2003 user opens the file and does not "break links", the information
in xls file will be incorrect.
Excel 2002 users can open the file, without updating, and the
information is correct.
Thank you.

Have you considered using MS query instead of links. For indiviual
cells links are great, however for whole tables/columns I find query
works a lot better and can be customised more (refresh by minute/on
startup, not to metion autofilling adjacent formulas).

Giff
