Custom Trendline
In an XY scatter plot, why can't I specify a custom trendline? No matter
what formula I enter, I get the original best fit line. Thanks |

What does it mean to specify a trendline? A trendline is supposed to
be a line that reflects the trend of the data. If you specify the line, it is just a plot of some equation and may have nothing to do with the data.
